Cuz they played in the same world cup
Or should I say captained...
Well, Hussain made his debut in 1989 and Kris played his last ODI in 1992 so there was chance that they did play in the same cup
Same country but different cities
I also said captained in the initial clue...
must be some Canadian or Kenyan born in India.
but doubt any body would be born in Indore, Ranchi, Mumbai, Andhra Pradesh or Kolkata
Yea can't find anyone so far.
google and cricinfo are allowed btw
may be some captain from 2003 was born in Chennai?
Yup that is the case.
Canadian captain Joe Harris and Nasser
How else did you think we were gonna find em?
Yeah Babli's right!
ding ding ding. You got it.
The other pair I could think of was far more obvious. Graeme Smith and Andrew Strauss.
My next clue was going to be that neither was captaining the country of their birth
How did I miss Smith and Strauss?
Well I forgot it when coming up with the question...
My batting average in test cricket stands higher than my first-class average and yet when you add the number of first-class matches I played, the number of first-class centuries I made and the number of first-class catches I took, the sum total is only 5 more than the number of runs I scored in test cricket.
A retired but modern-day cricketer who's related to me went on to represent the country I played for on two Ashes tours.
Who am I ?
The retired modern cricketer I'm talking about in hint 1 has captained his team in test cricket.
This like a riddle
