Pull shot is easy against a ****ty bowler... Bowlers who bowl thick bouncers, its very hard. Especially when their target is right on the money.

I think he means tall bowlers who get the ball to balloon at you by delivering from so high.

^ Sort of like Garner.. who could get the ball to kick up from just short of a good length. Those are very hard to play.

I can't pull to save my life. Good back foot player otherwise though.

They are most effective when you can bowl them right on the helmet. Or on chest level. Brings discomfort in batsmen.

Not impossible. Very possible actually... Broad has done it, but he lacks pace. Needs to be in the region of 150+ to be more effective.

^ It's reasonably effective without TOO much pace though. (135 - 145). Just look @ Hilfenhaus vs Indian tail enders last summer.

Broad bowls a gun bouncer. Especially when he ISN'T using it as his stock ball.

Broad's are really good... but batsmen tend to pick him up quite early... if he can put an extra pace in em, they can be very deadly.

^^ Indians suck at facing bouncers. Last year was quite evident to say the least.
