    Both were played against **** bowling attacks and were meaningless innings. It's a tough one. But Cook got more runs and didn't cost his team the match.

    I reckon the irrelevant 3rd option might take this one though...

    Why is this compared with sachin's innings against bangladesh only but why not other innings??

    Why, I think it's a good comparison. Cook and Tendulkar both got good 100's against poor bowling attacks, which don't mean much, while Imran Tahir punched above his weight for 16 which could be crucial. You have to decide what's more important; the weight of runs, or the importance.
