    Well it's a good thing iiNet won that case, because it means ISP's don't have to worry about getting sued for not suspending people's internet access, so you can probably download all you like, all they have to do is make sure you receive the notice of the infringement.

    Oh and Angus Frasers kid played against me today. Wasn't good enough to get me out FTR. Fourtunately for us Angus was restricted to advice for his boy on the sidelines (he played against us last year.)
    got a scorecard of it?

    Our *team score* 14/8

    and then all out for 33/10.
    I went at number 9... took my team from 14 to 33... Well I didn't score much, just stood on the crease. Keep in mind, I am not a batsman and I think I performed better than my rest of the team who got out on 0s and what not. Including Coverdrive. This is your second duck Mr. Coverdrive.

    On a good note, I opened the bowling with an injured leg and ended up bowling 8 wides. Not the finest moment. Another thing, I ended my duck strike... scored 1 run.

    Mind you, I flew to Amsterdam last night...hectic...
    I hope my team treated and served you right there, Mr. Coverdrive. Although you were quite useful with the bowl but useless with the bat. We appreciated having you in the team.

    Just injured... pace and accuracy has gone in the gutter... Just imagine Brett Lee's pace being decreased from 150 to 50... probably less. I was bowling pies FWIW.

    I think the elbow injury you had a year ago is probably effecting you to bowl straight. Something probably has happened that you decided to become more careful now, might be that. Or What I have seen is that your body bends one side when you try to bowl fast... otherwise its fine.

    only people who are practicing are doing decent. Who are not doing anything are getting smacked out of the park.... as a matter of fact, one player returned after a season and with that, he hadn't picked his bat for a year and usually opens the innings... so he got sent opening, first ball - BOWLED!!!

    Well I wouldn't say you were "safe", but it's really not in the record company's (whoever they are) interest to go after a 13 year old kid from Sydney who probably has no money. There's no money in it for them, so most likely they won't act on any infringement notices, they're mostly just scare tactics.

    Yeah most are done by 3rd parties. Nothing ever gets acted on except in very rare cases or when they had a target who was actually worth a lot of money.

    These ISP are not allowed to see what you download and what you dont. In their terms and conditions, it says in writing that the will respect your privacy. Using this logic, these ISP can not even say send you these threatening emails. Likewise, some people have been fined though.

    1.5 megabit.

    Mb = megabit
    MB = megabyte

    a bit is an 8th of a byte. The ISP's ADVERTISE their speeds in megaBITS to make them seem faster than they actually are.

    1.5Mb/s results in a download speed of ~160KB/s. Upload speeds of ~20, which makes it extremely annoying to upload long Youtube vids.

    ADSL2 gives speeds of UP TO 24Mb/s. Usually a guaranteed minimum of something a lot less than that. 900KB down is still a lot faster than I have though. Don't complain.

    The speed you get with ADSL2 depends on how far you are from the exchange, what the infrastructure at the exchange is like and what the cabling is like to your house. (How far, what quality, etc.)
