That's a good video Rob, pity about the quality. Shows the hypocrisy up really well. Any Indians who say Ponting/Clarke/anyone else was cheating in Sydney 08 for claiming catches that looked like they might possibly have maybe almost nearly if you look at it with one eye closed and through a telescope have touched a single atom of a blade of grass before going into their hands, can STFU and watch that video.

Great shot to play when your team is down 173/5

Well Bell, Collingwood, and Trott all have double 100's, while Cook has 2 and Pietersen has 3.

Let's be realistic here... if someone like Haddin or Sammy had played that shot at that stage of the game... nobody would've known where they were until they noticed the foul smell coming from someone's basement.

The ignorance and lack of even a basic understanding of Test cricket, on display here, is staggering to say the least. All I see is a bunch of trigger happy morons quick to jump on the "let's bash SRT bandwagon". Heck, nobody even bothered to take a closer look at the video in the post or its context (the match and the series). Here are a few basic observations.

    1) The score was 173/5 out of which SRT scored 90 (greater than 50%).
    2) The next highest score was by Sehwag (66) batting at #7.
    3) India were trailing England by 163 in the first innings.
    4) SRT was batting with #7 and back in the 90s and early 2000s (this match was played in 2001), #7 through #11 were sitting ducks. This is also evident from the markedly different approach he has taken to batting with the tail in the mid to late 2000s.
    5) Flintoff had taken 3 wickets and Hoggard had taken 2 wickets by that point.
    6) They had to wipe off as much of the deficit as possible, as quickly as possible, in much the same way Marlon Samuels decided to take on Greame Swann when he was batting with Ravi Rampaul. If you go back to 1999, he was out on 136 vs Pak and the last four wickets or so caved with 12 or 13 runs to chase. They had to get the runs off Giles.. Hoggard and Flintoff were bowling great.
    7) SRT won the Man of the Series Award during the series containing this match (luckily drawn due to rain).

Here's the scorecard for some perspective.

Well it's a better answer than you ever give Oscar when he types up a huge page. All you ever do is say you didn't even read it. Hypocrite much? Get on my intellectual level before trying intelligent debate with me, my son.

I'm not trolling, it was a fail shot. I'd be saying the same if it were Watson or Ponting or Clarke or anyone who played it.

Sachin is flop end of story. As for Squashy's analysis of that match, was Sachin's 90 worth it? They were scoring runs at a rate of 2runs per over... India did not even get a chance to have 2nd innings... so I do not think it makes any difference how Sachin batted and once again it shows Sachin choking in 90s. Last thing, after 4, it comes 5... not 4. Go read your post, dimwit.

I'm pretty sure that first dismissal must've been Bucknor's fault as well.

And the second one was DEFINITELY Bucknor's fault... the ball was clearly going to pass between the leg stump and middle stump without disturbing the bails. Clear racism right there. I'm surprised India didn't threaten to cancel the tour.

Rap yourself on the knuckles. Bah, and thanks for pointing out that triviality. Corrected it to make it easy to read for those with ADD.

And oh, you might as well change the title to "Sachin Tendulkar is a Flop" instead of posing the fake question "Is Sachin Tendulkar Flop" like it is up for debate here on this thread.
