Gambhir is an idiot. Talking big after flopping in the Test series makes him look like a fool. Scores a match winning 92 and wants to talk big. How mature!

    Oh Gatum you wonderful man.

Tell you'll I'll happily have, say Rohit Sharma, instead of Tendulkar when we come over in November.

Gambhir 91, Dhoni 58, SRT 15... last ball tie. Expect to hear Gambhir shoot off his mouth again soon, about Dhoni not finishing it off soon enough and having the best XI. What a putz!

Dhoni gives it back. Take that Gambhir, you putz! Think you can talk when you score a couple of 90s. What a pussy!

Frustrated Gambhir slams showboat Dhoni for stealing the limelight yet again!

Hours after Team India’s ODI victory over Australia in the ongoing CB series, opener Gautam Gambhir slammed skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni for “being a show pony” and “unnecessarily glamorising easy victories”.

Dhoni took India home with two balls to spare after a tense last over that saw India scoring 13 runs including a mammoth six by the Indian captain.

According to team-mates, Gambhir was reasonably content with his man-of-the-match performance, despite missing out on a century – until he flipped open his smartphone to check out how cricinfo had described his match-winning knock. The moment the southpaw read the headline ‘Ice-cool Dhoni downs Australia,’ he flew into a rage and flung his bat across the dressing room onto a sleeping Duncan Fletcher noisily snoring in the corner.

“Bhains ki aankh!” screamed Gauti. “What the hell is this, yaar! I did all the hard work. I negotiated the toughest period of play, tackled seaming deliveries when the ball was new and make a fighting 90 in the toughest of conditions. Along comes this guy, needlessly makes an easy win difficult and hits a fluke six in the last over. And everyone is singing his praises? This is not on!”

Skipper Dhoni played down his team-mate’s allegation that he was unnecessarily showing off. ”Well of course, that’s not true. If you noticed, neither did I twirl my bat nor did I give myself an uppercut after hitting the six. And I did not finish off the match with a six either,” said the swashbuckler who now holds the record for the highest ODI average in successful chases.

N Srinivasan, president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), agreed with Dhoni, “All I will say is full marks to the CSK boys…er.. I mean the Indian team for winning the match in style.”

Ravi Shastri also came out in support of the skipper, albeit for different reasons. “Thanks to Dhoni’s innings, I got to say ‘this could go down to the wire’ seven times during the match. This took my overall tally to 10,000 mentions of that phrase,” observed the popular commentator.

The BCCI will be organising an event to felicitate the former all-rounder for passing this significant milestone in his commentary career.

not angry, but yes I don't like his comments. No player should make such comments.
