England slightly has the edge for the #1 spot. After that, I have no idea who is #2, #3, #4 etc... Awesome times in the world of cricket

England haven't proved themselves in Asian conditions, hopefully they can do well against Sri Lanka.

Australia's bowling attack is the deadliest I must say. However, Australia v New Zealand series revealed Australia being the ****. I need to see one or two more series of Australia to actually call them #1. England was same story, now after visiting UAE and facing Pakistan, their true colors came to light. Got whitewashed. #1 team got whitewash. Two #1 teams got whitewashed in less than a year.

You gotta be kidding. Unproven in Asian conditions, longevity etc...

Except we dominated 9 series instead of 1.

England still has the best bowling attack easily in test, look Anderson,Broad (adds some batting), Bresnan (all rounder),Tremlett, Swann(adds some batting),Finn,Panesar and Onions, Look at all of them England can rely, all as good as anybodies attack as a team easily in my opinion. Finn looks like he has improved a lot and more disciplined and accurate now, I am very excited to see what he can do in the future, Also I could add Samit Patel to that list 2, he could play play in the test team in the future and he adds runs and a spin option for the team, maybe we auto give him or Bopara a try in the test series against Sri Lanka in place of Eowin Morgan perhaps, I do believe in my opinion we have the best options at the moment and could have in years to come.
    Lets heat up the debate!!

You from another planet he already did play in Australia in the Ashes and got 14 wickets in 3 test at an averedge of 33 and that was when he was not disciplined and accurate, now I believe he is even better and quicker, so back at you bit**!!

Was the leading wicket taker after the first 3 tests he played. Would make your side in a flash.

Looks like our friend from Down Under hasn't been watching the ODI's in the UAE, or the ones we did in India for that matter.
